MISSION STATEMENT

We foster the development of each child into a capable, caring and confident person, able to adapt to the society of the future and to lay a firm foundation on which future learning can be built. As a Christian school, we give the children the beginnings of a Christian Education.

SCHOOL AIMS

  • We aim to provide a warm, secure environment appropriate for all our children to learn, which enables them to develop intellectually, socially, spiritually, emotionally, physically and creatively to their full potential.

  • We nurture our children to express their identity and accept that of others within clear guidelines, developing respect for diverse needs.

  • We aim to be inclusive in every aspect of school life and affirm the other religious traditions in our culture.

  • We aim to respond to the needs our children will have as they grow up, by anticipating and welcoming the good insights and best practice of new educational advances, so that they can take their place as responsible citizens in a challenging global environment.

  • We aim to work closely with local Early Years settings, and to foster positive relationships with the schools our children may progress to.

  • We aim to work closely with the families and carers of our pupils and seek opportunities to play an active role in the wider community.

  • We aim to be responsive in adjusting to and preparing for times of change.
