We were blessed with really hot weather this year and enjoyed the children opening the May Fair with their singing. Miss Pitfield had her car filled with balloons and whoever guessed how many balloons were in there, got a ride to school with Miss Woodhouse in her open-top mini. The bouncy castle is always a winner with the children and the PIMMS tent with the adults. The queue for face painting was constant and the chocolate and wine tombola's sold out quickly. The Schools Council plant stall did well, even if the plants were wilting in the midday sun. Cold drinks were chosen over popcorn this year but as always the excellent sausages and burgers all got eaten. Thanks again to all the volunteers who mad the day go smoothly.
