Well-Being

At St Nics' we strive to meet the holistic needs of our children, both academic and emotional. In fact we ensure the emtional well-being of both our children and staff remains high on our priorities and can be found annually on our School Development Plan. Through the teaching of our Values, we constantly refer to how we feel as human beings, and that feelings are important to acknowledge and respond to if action is needed.

Every Friday afternoon the year 1 and 2 children take part in a carousel of Well-Being Boosters. These activities are a wonderful way not only to end the week, but most importantly to provide children with skills and interests needed to use when life inevitably becomes challenging. Pottery, gardening, sewing, music, yoga, dance are just a few of the Boosters we currently run.
