St Nicolas' Church of England Infant School

Living life in all its fullness

From the Rector of St Nicolas' Church, Father Neil Roberts

Welcome to St Nic's Infants School.

Here is a special place: a space where your children will be loved and grown into all that they can be.

Our school is small enough to make sure we know all of the children really well, but big enough to provide them with all that they need - and although we are in the centre of town we have wonderful outside space for Forest School! But our greatest gift to share is ourselves - our dedicated, experienced staff who will care for, protect and help our children grow - to live life in all its fullness.

As a father myself I know how important and rather stressful finding the right school for our children can be and perhaps the best way to understand what and who we are is to visit - we are always proud to show new families around.

As a Church of England School we place the greatest importance on the spiritual and moral values that underpin our ethos. These are of course what binds together our town and indeed our nation and we celebrate these in all that we do - not only in our week-day Collective Worship and our times in our Parish Church for Harvest, Christmas, Easter and the beginning and the end of the year but in how we treat one another moment to moment. If you share this vision then do come and visit and may God bless you.
