Office Administrator (part time)

We are looking for a part time office administrator to job share with Mrs Gilchrist, ideally starting from September. If you are interested in the role, please contact Mrs Morgan


2 days per week, term time only (39 weeks of the year) 8.15 am - 2.45pm Thursdays and 8.15am - 3.15pm Fridays (12.5 hours per week), including 2 INSET days.

Pay scale: £5,677-£6,293 pro rata, dependent on experience (FTE: £19,072-£21,066)



We are looking for a capable part time office administrator to join our small and friendly school.

St Nicolas' Infant School is situated on the edge of Guildford town and comprises four classes. Our community is vibrant and inclusive. You will be the 'face' of our school so must be personable, helpful and able to represent us in professional and welcoming manner. The office is the hub of the school and its work is crucial to our core purpose of developing children as learners. We need someone who: -


  • likes children and, indeed, people 
  • is organised with a ‘can do’ approach
  • can work effectively within a small team
  • is calm under pressure and able to multi-task
  • can liaise and communicate effectively with job share partner
  • possesses strong organisational and administrative ability, with excellent literacy skills
  • is IT literate
  • ideally, is familiar with school database packages, such as SIMS, or has a willingness to learn quickly
  • is a highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills able to work with a variety of stakeholders
  • is flexible and resilient with a very good sense of humour.
